4 reasons that make Mall of India food court ahead of others

Today food business scenario is going through the biggest phase of disruption. From investors heavily investing into the food business to real estate people allocating more spaces to food brands, we can say that food business is projecting the growth of retail-real estate scenario in India.

Recently opened DLF Mall of India which is sort to be first of its kind ‘Destination Mall’ in India has also focused a lot on bringing the best of food brands and cafes under their roof. Talking to Restaurant India, Pushpa Bector, VP and Head, DLF mall of India shares reasons which make DLF food court differ from other food courts:

Largest Food Court: Today, every mall is getting the major crowd because of the food it caters to. No matter why a person is coming to a mall- whether to do shopping, is out on a movie date or for a scrumptious dinner, he will definitely pay attention to the food brands. And, seeking this opportunity DLF has created the largest food court in Delhi NCR with seating capacity of 1000 people designed by Varney designs

When food meets entertainment: A good food is always completed by the fun it adds. And, witnessing the opportunity that food business is drawing, Mall of India has allocated approximately 40 per cent space dedicated to F&B, Casual Dining and Indoor Entertainment

A bouquet of wholesome food: A wholesome dining is never completed without a mix of the trend that follows. Keeping all the trends on one go, Mall of India has a total 75 Food & Beverage options Including 51 Cafes and Casual Dining Restaurants and 24 F&B Kiosks which makes it different from other malls in the region.

A mixture of global and local: In India, we are passing by a time where global food giants are keen on sharing opportunity with India. Meanwhile, the renowned chefs in the country are on a journey to promote the lost, unadvertised and not so popular food and cuisine of the region. EAT Food lounge – food court offers 20 local and global cuisines. It will host brands, like Ala Turka, Taco Bell, Bento café, Insta Pizza, Burger King, Mad over Donuts, Keventers, Wanchai by Kylin, Oh So Stoned, Item No., Taco Bell, Subway, Dominos, Imly Cafe and many other known brands.

Hence, we can see that with people playing around food and entertainment as major crowd puller, these players are sure to bring more exciting brands under their umbrella.
