Focusing on 'Ghar Ka Khaana' EasyKhaana bags angel funding

EasyKhaana, which is catering to corporate and individuals in West and Central Delhi to serve ‘Ghar Ka Khaana’, has raised $100,000 from a private investor. Started in September this year, the three months old start-up will use the fund raised to strengthen its logistics and technology as well as reach out to more people by expanding its delivery areas.

EasyKhaana is founded by Aayush Anand and Vishrut Gawri. Aayush is a graduate from Delhi University and an alumni of London School of Economics & Harvard Extension School. Vishrut studied architecture and is leading the sales and marketing.

Its centralised kitchen is located in New Delhi and the company also plans of opening a new kitchen for the Gurgaon market as well.

“Our food and the disposable hygienic packaging differentiates us from rest. Our aim is to create an enriching experience for the user. The whole process is aimed at making the user feel at ease. One can place an order on our website in less than 30 seconds,” It earns money from the sale of meal boxes,” shared Anand, one of the founders.

EasyKhaana is a food tech startup providing homely meals, it allows users to book their meals on the website or via a call. The startup owns the complete delivery supply chain – with a combination of food, logistics & technology. The company claims that anyone can order their meal box in less than 30 seconds on its website.

“The food delivery sector is a $2 billion market growing at 30-40% annually. But i believe our target customer is anybody who eats home cooked food,” added Anand.
