French Bakery plans to expand footprint in Delhi NCR market

French Bakery Pvt Ltd, owners of French Bakery brand L’Opéra, is planning to open at least one store in a month through 2019 in the Delhi NCR market as part of its plan to expand footprint in the region. Currently, French Bakery has 14 outlets in Delhi NCR. The brand will have at least 21 by the end of the year.

In a spree of new openings started in December 2018, French Bakery has launched L’Opera outlets in Green Park, Defence Colony, and Greater Kailash M-Block market.  

The brand will introduce new outlets in Worldmark II in Aerocity in March, Max Tower Noida in April, which will further be followed by Pearl Academy Naraina, Civil Lines, Golf Course Road Gurgaon, etc. 

Kazem Samandari, Executive Chairman of French Bakery, said, "The Salon de Thé concept of L’Opera has been received well by the customers since they opened the first one in Bikaner House near prime India Gate area of Central Delhi. Therefore, most of the outlets, except the Defence Colony one, opened thereafter are bigger format Salon de Thé."

"All the L’Opera stores are company owned and operated. We want to preserve the integrity of the brand and the quality of our products. We believe in that model," he added.
