Have you ever wondered of getting a degree in pizza studies??? If not, get ready to learn about the basics of pizza, as Pizza Hut is bringing the new degree course in pizza.

Pizza Hut is planning to create 15,00 apprenticeships over the next five years, reported The Mirror.

The global restaurant chain's first ever apprenticeship scheme will cover a range of skills from food production to financial analysis.

The degree level programme will be run with Manchester Metropolitan University, with a mix of academic and practical programmes.

"The launch of our apprenticeships comes at an exciting time for our business as we continue to make headway in our refurbishment programme,” shared Kathryn Austin, director of HR and marketing at Pizza Hut Restaurants to The Mirror.

"Over the next few years we will work hard to provide our apprentices and team members with the best training and development so that we can equip them with skills for life, not just for working in a restaurant,” added Austin.

The QSR chain is doing so, in order to ensure a future supply of skilled workers at its restaurants.
