Swiggy Rolls Out Rs 99 Store to Boost Affordable Daily Meal Orders

Swiggy Limited has rolled out a new initiative, the “99 Store,” on its app, introducing curated single-meal options priced at Rs 99. The offering is now live in over 175 cities, including major metros and Tier ll markets such as Bengaluru, Delhi, Chennai, Lucknow, Patna, and Mysuru.

Designed to appeal to cost-sensitive and high-frequency users, particularly Gen Z consumers, the 99 Store provides a streamlined menu of quick-preparation meals across diverse cuisines like rolls, biryani, noodles, North Indian, South Indian, burgers, pizzas, and cakes.

The feature leverages Swiggy’s Eco Saver delivery mode, enabling free delivery on all Rs 99 orders while maintaining service reliability. By combining affordability and a curated menu approach, the company aims to expand its user base and improve engagement among price-conscious customers.

Rohit Kapoor, CEO of Swiggy Food Marketplace said, “At Rs 99, this isn’t just a price point, it’s a promise. A promise that good food can be both affordable and accessible, especially for our younger customers. The 99 Store is our way of making sure daily meals don’t burn a hole in your wallet.

Swiggy has worked in collaboration with restaurant partners and delivery teams to build this offering without compromising on quality or variety. The 99 Store is fully integrated into the main Swiggy app and features a dish-forward layout that highlights top-selling items for better discovery and simplified navigation.

With this launch, Swiggy is aiming to reinforce its position as a daily-use platform, especially as consumer focus increasingly shifts toward affordable, everyday dining options. This move is expected to enhance order volumes from younger demographics and increase usage frequency by positioning itself as an economical food solution for daily consumption.
