Hocco, one of India’s fastest-growing ice cream brands, has raised ₹115 crore in a fresh funding round led by longtime partner Sauce.vc, propelling the company’s valuation to ₹2,000 crore. In less than two years, it has become one of the most exciting brands by focusing on quality, new ideas, and modern distribution.
The new funds will help in increasing the manufacturing, improving the cold-chain logistics, launching more products, and expanding across India and in global markets. By summer of 2026, Hocco will be able to make nearly 3 lakh litres of ice cream, making it one of the most advanced facilities in the country. The company will also grow in quick commerce, modern retail, and travel hubs.
Ankit Chona, Managing Director of Hocco, said, “This funding allows us to move faster on the vision we’ve set for Hocco: To make quality ice cream that is exciting, innovative, and crafted to turn everyday moments into something special. Sauce.vc has been a long-time believer in our journey, backing us from the very start, and their continued support is a huge validation of what we’re building. At Hocco, ice cream is our way of bringing something fresh, modern and joyful to a legacy category. With this capital, we’re doubling down on that idea and scaling it for many more consumers across India and beyond.”
Manu Chandra, Founder and Managing Partner, Sauce.vc, said, “Ankit and team are a rare combination of strong category know-how and unbridled ambition. They are keen to build Hocco into India’s most loved ice cream company, and we are excited to continue partnering with them on this journey from day zero.”
In just a few years, Hocco has emerged as a game-changer in the ice cream space, bringing together craftsmanship, innovation, and strong execution. From introducing new formats and flavours to building a modern distribution backbone, the company has re-energised the category and positioned itself as one of the most exciting consumer brands to watch.
