Crowne Plaza launches 'Student benefit cards'

The Crowne Plaza Greater Noida has launched the first student benefit card for a five star hotel.

The card is available to those who are validated as students with a college ID card and the age limit is up to the age of 25years.

“We want to change the pre-conceived notion about Greater Noida. With Buddh International Circuit, India Expo Mart, the largest convention Centre, more than 60 colleges, we have the scope to be the events hub in NCR Region.” Greesh Bindra, General Manager.

Those living here have time and again heard family and friends denying an invitation, a business meeting postponed due to the “distance” or a remark about Greater Noida being underdeveloped.

The concept is to attract the Gen-y, the millennials, to change their mind set and embrace their own neighbourhood, their campus and home.

With a launch offer of INR 4000 all inclusive, the package allows the student to redeem INR 2000 straight off on a meal at the hotel during his first visit. Thereon, regular discounts are offered for each of his visits in food and beverage.

A “Weekend Frenzy” allows the student a flat 50% discount on food and 30% on beverages valid of Friday, Saturday and Sundays too.

The students have other benefits too – free wi-fi on his visit to the hotel, a special recreation room coined as “The living room” adjoining the swimming pool is the designated hangout zone. “We are still developing the area to add more interactive games and activities” commented, Bindra.
