
Grand Hyatt Mumbai Hotel and Residences is excited to announce the appointment of Wangyong Liang as the Chinese Master Chef of China House Restaurant.
With more than 17 years of experience in Cantonese and Sichuan cuisine, Chef Wangyong is a culinary specialist who will lead the restaurant's team to create exceptional dining experiences. He brings his signature dishes to the menu, which are known for their bold flavors and textures.
“I am delighted to be a part of the Grand Hyatt Mumbai family and introduce the bold and spicy flavors of Sichuan cuisine to the city's food enthusiasts. Sichuan cuisine is known for its complex and intense flavors, and I am eager to showcase the unique combination of spices, and aromatics that define this cuisine” said Chef Wangyong Liang.
Chef Wangyong Liang is a highly experienced and knowledgeable chef in the field of Chinese cuisine, having worked in some of Asia's most renowned hotels and restaurants.
He began his culinary journey at the Xian Jing Garden Hotel in China and later went on to prepare meals for several high-profile dignitaries, including Chinese Presidents Hu Jintao, Xi Jinping, Wen Jiabao, and Li Keqiang during their visits to India while he was working at the Chinese embassy there.
After a break of more than three years, Chef Wangyong has now joined the Hyatt family.
