Research Before Launching Any Restaurant
I don’t remember about any such mistake for drafting the plan for any new or probably an old restaurant. We did a lot of research before implementing our thoughts into action, since it needs a huge investment, committing a mistake would result in a huge loss to us. So, we do enough research on different aspects with the help of our well-talented and well-equipped team.
Importance of Location for A Restaurant Business
Location matters a lot when you want to start a restaurant business. It is very important to see the location according to your product costing. For example, if the minimum costing for a table for two in my restaurant is Rs 2000, it very important to see if the people/walk-ins in that area would able to afford that or not. There is no point of targeting the area where the spending capacity is not matching to our rate list.
As it is said, the right ingredients make a right dish, similarly, there are some elements that go in making a good restaurant is - right location such as your target market, area traffic, you will want to figure out how high the traffic is in your desired location, ease of access and visibility, availability of parking, etc.
And if I talk about the costing involved it is somewhere around Rs 2 to 3 crores.
Growth and Expansion Plans of Gola Sizzlers and Café Hawker
Gola has positioned itself as a warm family-style restaurant that is considered as an ideal place to spend the evening with family and friends. Talking about growth and expansion, we are planning to expand his innovative outlets to other cities as well, though there are concrete plans to open Gola Sizzlers outlets in other metros. Also, for Gola Sizzlers, we are expanding it to more QSR outlets too, which will be implemented soon.

The products that are offered by Gola are primarily sizzlers and are popular & liked by all in and around Delhi. So, our chocolate sizzlers are most preferred from the menu.
The Impact of Business
Gola Sizzlers has the first flagship QSR outlet in Pacific Mall, Subhash Nagar, Delhi; it has the highest sale in comparison to other QSR outlets in the food court. Gola is the market leader in this segment for the mass market and its sizzlers are popular and liked by all in and around Delhi. Gola’s sizzlers account for about 50% of its daily food sales. The prices charged are feasible and are categorized as food with value for money.
Tips for Aspiring Restaurateurs in Delhi
In our opinion, understanding the restaurant business, right location, good quality food, right target audience and smart menu planning, owner’s involvement, a good marketing team and most importantly staff satisfaction are the key points to keep in mind for a restaurateur. To make success in this business don’t do different things because the basic business concept will remain the same, you just have to think differently.
