(Newly Launched) La Roca in Delhi is making waves through its food and drinks

Rarely do we find a restaurant where you can enjoy both the food and drinks. La Roca, a recently opened Tapas Bar in Aerocity has a lot to offer than just small savouries or small bites. Not only do they have some innovative drinks to offer but also some of the finest dishes of  cuisines from around the world.

The concept of indulging is to just enjoy the food that will elevate the taste and expectations. Their signature menu at La Roca- Indulge has dishes from across the world such as Spain, Japan, Thailand, Mexico and India to name a few. It offers multi-sensorial dining out experience to the new age Indians- millennials anchored in the Indian ethos. One can have a global cultural experience with a menu that has travelled the world far and wide. It indeed is an experience to indulge in.

LA ROCA

La Roca is an ode to modern Spanish design in its entire splendour. It is spacious and can have around 100 diners at a time. The rustic interiors, high ceilings, and the massive bar at the front complement each other very well. The elegant vaulted ceiling design is a remnant of the cathedrals of Spain, which is sculpted out of an otherwise rigidly square space.

Lot to Offer Visually

One can see a play of textures and materials like a bronze mirror, exotic stones and metal frames on the walls. The colour palette is earthy with colors like beiges, browns and greys mixed with splashes of burgundy. However, the cool neon lights with a message like ‘Well behaved women don’t make history’ emits some really chill vibes there. Another cool thing we found was that the syrups they use in drinks and food are all-natural.

Meanwhile, the cocktails here have crossed some lines of innovation and are praiseworthy. We tried Violet, Saffronization, the Green Fairy, House Negroni and Nitro Jamaican. While all the cocktails are outstanding, we found Saffronization to be an extraordinary cocktail. The infused Bourbon with coffee and almond milk is just not your ordinary drink.

Your Travelling Teaches You

The menu has been inspired from the travels of Chef Bharadwaj. His various trips to South America, France and Denmark have helped him design the menu. It has been divided into Pan Asian, European, Modern Indian and deserts. In Pan-Asian specials, we liked Laksa Cottage Cheese and lotus Stem and Enoki Mushroom Nilgiri. They have a range of veg and non-veg starters to choose from.  In mains, we were served Naga Chili Paneer Tikka Masala (which was surprisingly not too spicy) from their modern Indian segment and Spinach Goat and Cheese Ravioli from the European mains menu. At last we ended our feast with their special Blueberry Cheesecake. Overall the indulgence at La Roca was an extravagant affair and is definitely marking its space in the country.
