Copper Chimney's Flagship Restaurant in Worli is Back with its Classic Menu

The 47 year-old brand, Copper Chimney, is back with its flagship restaurant in Worli. It has introduced a brand new look to its outlet and launched a new menu which features several classic dishes from its first menu in 1972.

This restaurant has been serving its customers since over four decades. Known for its distinct flavors while keeping its memorable taste intact over the years, Copper Chimney offers contemporary Indian cuisine with its own signature touch. Over the past 47 years, it is catering to its customers at across all its 20 locations.

 

It was established in 1972 by JK Kapur, with the flagship outlet in Worli, Which was inaugurated by legendary Bollywood actor, Dilip Kumar. Using an array of handpicked spices sourced from select farms across India, Copper Chimney’s secret spice recipes, which have been passed down three generations, infuse the brand’s signature flavors into their dishes.

 

To celebrate its legacy from 1972, it will be offering the first 72 walk-ins each day a discount of 72% off on their entire dine-in bill, from 9th to 13th October.

 

From the original 1972 menu, one will find signature dishes making a comeback after many years, the Kabuli Naan, Mushroom Kheema, Bagani Bahar, Fish Begum Bahar, amongst others will now be available at the Worli restaurant.

 

In addition to the slow cooked Dals, the expertly spiced, freshly cooked curries are a specialty at this restaurant; right from the signature Paneer Masala and Benaras Malai Kofta, to the 21-spice blend Rogan Josh, and Murg Makhani.

All the tandoor grills are marinated for over eight hours, and tandoors are lit at first light each morning, making the Smoked White Pepper Chicken Chops and the Burrah Chop, cooked at 900 degrees Fahrenheit, are some favorite dishes of all non-vegetarian lovers. Dishes like Paneer Tikka and Achari Mushroom are a must-try for all vegetarians.

 

Meanwhile, Copper Chimney’s handmade breads are cooked in the restaurant’s tandoor ovens, and one cannot miss the paper-thin Roomali, which is available in a whole wheat option as well, or as the signature Kadak Roomali, topped with a choice of secret spices, seasonings or cheese. One can also, try the fresh handmade tandoori rotis, which will also be available in a multi-grain option.
