
QSR chain World Trail has raised their first round of angel Funding of Rs 2 Crores from Startup Lanes Angel Fundhouse.
The funding will be used for expansion and opening new restaurants.
“The investors are excited about the business model and see a huge potential in this business,” shared Shishir Gupta, CEO, Startup Lanes.
Since its inception in 2016, World Trail has been reinventing the idea of fast food and assimilating exotic dishes from around the globe, and is a vibrant project dedicated to raising the bar of the fast-food industry.
The QSR chain, World Trail plans to open 15 new outlets by the end of the current financial year and 200 in the next five years to increase its footprint across India.
World Trail has been conceptualized to suffice up the complete dining experience to those who love to examine new tastes and familiarize their palates to global taste.
“Our customers love our brand and are eagerly waiting for World Trail to expand their footprint. World Trail is famous for its cheesy pizzas and Indian dishes, one can order different feasts from one roof. The QSR chain has many creative dishes to offer for both dining and delivery, which helps it gain a lot of traction from repeat customers,” added Founders Vipin Kumar Singh and Ranjan Singh at World Trail.
The company also mentioned that their latest outlets will be company-owned and in locations such as Chandigarh, Delhi, Ludhiana, and Jalandhar.
The brand currently runs three eateries in Mohali, Faridabad, and Noida.
