
Country’s largest growing QSR chain McDonald’s has opened its biggest restaurant in India on Saturday, June 8. It is a massive 325 seater flagship restaurant located in the Great India Place Mall in Sector 18, Noida. It is company’s 152nd outlet in the northern and eastern region of the country.
The rest 161 are located in the south and western region of India. With this opening the total number of McDonald’s in the country is now 313 restaurants.
Speaking at the inauguration, Vikram Bakshi, JV Partner and Managing Director of McDonald’s India (North and East) said, “It is a proud moment for us as we open our largest restaurant in India. Current economic climate has provided us the opportunity to accelerate our growth and we feel it’s perhaps one of the best times to expand…as key inputs like real estate and human resources are affordable.”
He further adds that, “This is our 152nd restaurant in the north & east region of the country; and it is a significant milestone for us.”
The restaurant is spread over 8000 square feet; has 325+ seats spread over two floors, it has the largest birthday party area that can accommodate nearly 90+ guests. It has nearly all the platforms of McDonalds…dedicated Drive Thru; attached Dessert Kiosk; it also serves McDonald’s world famous Breakfast menu from 0800 hrs to 1100 hrs in the morning.
