Restaurant India News: South Indian Vegetarian Brand Atmanam Expands with New Outlet in Gurgaon

South Indian vegetarian dining brand Atmanam has opened its second outlet in Gurgaon at Elan Miracle, Sector 84, marking its continued expansion in the city’s organised dining space. The new restaurant adds to the brand’s existing presence at AIPL Joy Central and targets a growing residential and commercial catchment in the area.

The Elan Miracle outlet spans approximately 2,100 sq. ft. and accommodates 76 guests. The space follows the brand’s established design approach, with neutral interiors and minimal detailing that keep attention on the food and dining experience rather than visual excess.

The name Atmanam is derived from the Sanskrit word referring to the self or soul and is mentioned in the Bhagavad Gita. This philosophy informs the restaurant’s approach to South Indian cuisine, which focuses on traditional flavours presented in a format suited to contemporary urban diners. The brand positions its offering around consistency, familiarity, and careful preparation rather than reinterpretation or fusion.

Atmanam is co-founded by Shantanu Yadav and Rahul Yadav, whose concept emerged after extensive travel across South India. The intent was to build a format that respects regional cooking styles while aligning with modern service expectations and dining habits.

“Atmanam was built from the heart,” says Shantanu Yadav, Founder. “We wanted to create a space where South Indian food feels comforting yet elevated, rooted in tradition but shaped for the present. The Elan Miracle retaurant allows us to bring this philosophy to a new part of Gurgaon while staying true to the soul of the brand.”

The menu has been developed internally by the Atmanam culinary team and features a range of South Indian vegetarian dishes prepared using measured spices and traditional techniques. Key offerings include Benne Dosa, Mini Podi Idli, Masala Vadai, Vegetable Biryani, and Paneer Chettinad with Malabar Parotta. Desserts such as Pineapple Rava Kesari complete the menu. As a pure vegetarian restaurant, the brand also addresses vegan, gluten-free, and health-conscious preferences.

Across both outlets, Atmanam uses custom-designed brass crockery to reinforce consistency in presentation and dining experience. Attention is given to portioning, aroma, and texture to maintain uniform standards across locations.

With the addition of the Elan Miracle outlet, Atmanam strengthens its position in Gurgaon’s premium casual dining segment. The brand continues to focus on controlled expansion, operational consistency, and a dining format that appeals to families, working professionals, and regular diners seeking dependable South Indian vegetarian cuisine.
