Restaurant India News: Sayaji Hotels Appoints Rajendra Joshi as Associate GM for Pre-opening Operations

Sayaji Hotels Ltd has elevated Rajendra Joshi to the position of Associate General Manager – Pre-opening Operations, with the appointment taking effect from January 2026. In this role, he will be responsible for strengthening operational systems and leading the execution of new hotel launches as the group scales its presence across India.

With close to two decades of experience in the hospitality sector, Joshi brings strong expertise in hotel operations, food and beverage management, guest experience improvement, and workforce leadership. His career includes senior management and general manager roles across established hospitality brands, where he focused on operational discipline, service consistency, and performance delivery across varied markets.

At Sayaji Hotels Ltd, Joshi has already played a key role in supporting the company’s expansion plans. He has been involved in managing critical operational phases and supporting pre-opening activities for new properties, helping the brand enter emerging markets with structured processes and customer-focused operations.

His earlier assignments include leadership roles at properties such as The Fern Residency, Aurangabad and U Tropicana, Alibaug. In these positions, he worked on improving guest satisfaction scores, tightening operational workflows, and supporting revenue growth. His professional strengths include pre-opening planning, manpower deployment, talent engagement, and building systems that support continuous improvement at the property level.
