Foodpanda is all set to expand operations to Ahmedabad, Kolkata and Chennai to push growth by 35%, Co-founder, Mr. Rohit Chadda mentioned.
Mr. Chadda further added that “the company is targeting expanding network to include top 15 cities with restaurant coverage to 5000 restaurants by year-end. Foodpanda.in renders ordering food online fast by providing a restaurant index that facilitates searching for cuisine type, restaurants and price range.”
Currently, the company operates in 10 cities including Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida, Faridabad, Ghaziabad, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Pune, Bangalore and Chandigarh with 2000 network restaurants that include restaurants like Subway, Pizza Hut, Punjab Grill, Awadh, Lazeez, Hyderabadi Biryani etc.
MD & Co-founder Mr. Amit Kohli, said "Will cover Kolkata and Ahmedabad till mid August and Chennai by early September. This expansion is part of our strategy to significantly increase our footprint across the country. With this move, customers from these regions will also be able to avail our services."
