Underdoggs, a leading sports bar and entertainment chain in India, is undergoing significant expansion, having secured 10 new locations for 2024. This expansion will result in a 200 percent growth in the number of outlets, reaching 30 establishments by the end of 2025. The brand is also preparing to enter international markets, with plans to open locations in Dubai and London, bringing its unique combination of sports, dining, and entertainment to a broader audience.
As of September 2024, Underdoggs operates four successful outlets in New Delhi, Ludhiana, Goa, and Bengaluru. The brand is poised to further strengthen its presence in India with the opening of eight additional outlets in Indore, Noida, Sri Ganganagar, Dehradun, Hyderabad, Raipur, Gurgaon, and a second location in Bengaluru.
This growth represents a 50 percent increase in the number of outlets in 2024 alone, reinforcing Underdoggs’ goal of becoming India’s top sports and entertainment brand. By 2025, the company aims to triple its footprint.
Sarthak Sidana, Director of Underdoggs said, "As we continue our aggressive expansion in India, we’re equally excited to bring the Underdoggs experience to foreign markets. Having delivered a range of flavors and experiences to our Indian patrons, we’re confident that our new locations will embrace our concept. Our focus will remain on creating memorable experiences for every guest, no matter where they are."
Sidana also emphasized the brand's commitment to maintaining quality as it scales internationally. "This global move is not just about growth—it’s about ensuring world-class service, quality, and entertainment that meets the expectations of our international clientele."
In addition to expanding within India, Underdoggs' international plans are a key part of its broader strategy to introduce its distinctive blend of sports, entertainment, and dining to a global market. The brand, known for creating a community atmosphere with events like quiz nights, live music, and bar games, has redefined the sports bar experience in India.
The expansion will also generate over 2,700 new jobs, contributing positively to local economies.
