Restaurant India News: Vicoli Opens on Golf Course Road as Gurugram’s New European Dining and Social Hub

Gurugram has added a new restaurant to its busy dining landscape with the launch of Vicoli, a European-inspired restaurant and bar located on Golf Course Road. Positioned as an all-day venue, the space shifts from daytime dining to evening social activity while keeping its focus on European flavours, cocktails and a contemporary urban setting.

The name Vicoli, translating to “small streets” in Italian, reflects the idea of European alleyways where cafés and neighbourhood eateries function as community gathering points. This reference shapes the restaurant’s approach to service and its role as a place designed for unhurried meals and relaxed social interaction.

The architecture is built around layered design elements including arches, textured walls, warm lighting and substantial greenery, all arranged to offer expansive views of the Gurugram skyline. The atmosphere transitions through the day—from a bright space suited for brunch and lunch to a sunset-friendly spot for evening drinks, eventually becoming a low-lit venue for dinner and late-evening social activity.

Vicoli’s European-focused menu includes dishes such as Charcoal Hummus, Baked Pears, Avocado Lime Toast, Chilli Oil Pumpkin, Charred Broccoli, Parmesan Meatballs, Garlic Butter Lamb Chops, Prawn Pil Pil, Chicken Ragu Pappardelle, Charcuterie Cheese Fondus, Grilled John Dory and Prawn Thermidor. The menu is structured to encourage sharing and longer dining sessions. The bar programme features cocktails inspired by personality archetypes, including options titled Casanova, Entertainer, Rebel and Diva.

The beverage programme is led by Bar Consultant Louness Ducos, formerly of The Ritz Paris and recognised by GQ France as one of the country’s notable bartenders. The drinks menu focuses on seasonal ingredients and structured execution. The music shifts from café-style and jazz in the daytime to lounge-oriented selections in the evening.

Vicoli incorporates an AI-enabled menu interface designed to guide guests through flavour profiles, pairings and selections. The system is intended to support decision-making without complicating the dining experience.

The restaurant covers 1,485 sq. ft. indoors and 1,130 sq. ft. outdoors, offering seating for 76 guests across a designed interior and a terrace with greenery. Vicoli aims to serve occasions including business lunches, brunches, sundowners, after-work drinks and celebratory gatherings, positioning itself as a new social dining destination within Gurugram’s hospitality market.
