The St. Regis Goa Resort is set to host a one-night bar takeover by Bar Kin-Ru at its beachside venue, Susegado, on 14 January 2025. The collaboration brings together a relaxed coastal setting and a contemporary Indian cocktail program, designed as a sunset-to-evening experience aligned with the pace and preferences of South Goa’s leisure-driven hospitality market.
The takeover introduces Bar Kin-Ru’s modern mixology approach into Susegado’s open-air environment, with an emphasis on informal social engagement rather than structured programming. The collaboration reflects a shared hospitality outlook focused on ease, intention, and consistency, where beverages complement the setting without shifting attention away from the overall guest experience.
For the evening, Bar Kin-Ru will present five signature cocktails that represent its ingredient-led and balance-focused style. The selection has been structured to progress naturally from lighter serves to more spirit-forward options, finishing with a smoother, lingering profile. Cocktails will be available à la carte, allowing guests flexibility rather than a fixed tasting format.
The takeover will be led by Aniket Aswale, Beverage Head at Bar Kin-Ru. His professional background spans roles at several established bars across India, including Asia’s 50 Best–recognised Tesouro. With formal training in engineering before entering the hospitality sector, Aswale has developed a beverage philosophy rooted in sustainability, farm-to-bar sourcing, and technical discipline. His experience includes multiple industry competition wins, including Monkey Shoulder and Dewar’s.
Currently based in Hyderabad, Aswale oversees Bar Kin-Ru’s beverage operations, focusing on team development, national and international collaborations, and expanding the scope of contemporary Indian cocktail programs within premium hospitality environments.
Summarising the collaboration, the brand statement for the evening reads, “Modern cocktails, Goan sunsets, and an unmatched vibe.. We’ve teamed up to bring you an evening of contemporary craft that feels as easy as the coastal breeze. Experience effortless luxury, served the Susegado way.”
The event reflects a growing trend among luxury resorts to use short-format bar takeovers as a tool for experiential differentiation, talent exchange, and destination-led beverage programming, without altering core service structures.
