Restaurant India News: IHCL and Gulshan Group Partner to Launch Taj Hotel in Noida

Gulshan Group has partnered with Indian Hotels Company Limited to develop a Taj hotel and Taj branded serviced apartments in Noida, with a total investment of approximately Rs 1,000 crore. The project is expected to generate overall revenue of around Rs 2,000 crore and is positioned to become the tallest Taj hotel in India.

The greenfield project will be located in Sector 129 along the Noida Expressway, reflecting increasing interest from hospitality and real estate players in high-growth urban corridors within the National Capital Region. The collaboration signals a continued push toward integrated developments that combine hospitality and residential offerings.

The unveiling today of this landmark development of a Taj hotel and branded residences will set a benchmark in luxury in the National Capital Region. The project reflects a growing trend of mixed-use developments that integrate hospitality assets with branded residences to maximise revenue streams and asset utilisation. Such formats are gaining traction in metro and emerging urban markets due to increasing demand for premium living and hotel-backed services.

The development will include a Taj hotel with 150 rooms and 74 Taj branded serviced apartments. The hotel will feature multiple dining options, including an all-day dining restaurant, a bar, and two specialty restaurants. Event infrastructure will include an 8,000 sq. ft. ballroom along with meeting spaces, catering to both corporate and social gatherings.

The project will also incorporate wellness and recreational facilities such as a swimming pool, gym, health club, and Taj’s J Wellness Circle. The serviced apartments, sized at approximately 7,500 sq. ft., will offer access to a dedicated residents’ club with amenities including landscaped areas, recreational spaces, and an infinity pool.

The partnership highlights the continued expansion of luxury hospitality brands into the NCR region, driven by rising demand for premium accommodation, business travel infrastructure, and branded residential offerings.
