
The Imperia by Dhaba, part of a family-owned restaurant group with operations across New York City and New Jersey, has appointed Jasbir Singh Adhikari as Assistant Chef, strengthening its back-of-house capabilities as it continues to focus on consistency and authenticity in Indian cuisine.
Chef Adhikari brings 36 years of culinary experience, with a core focus on traditional Indian cooking and tandoor-based techniques. His career spans multiple international markets and hospitality formats, enabling him to work across both traditional recipes and evolving consumer preferences in global dining environments.
He has previously worked with Old World Hospitality in India, including its restaurant Chor Bazar, where he contributed to menu execution centred on regional Indian cuisine. His international experience includes roles at Tandoori King, Indian Restaurant Maharani, and Indian Restaurant Ganga, reflecting exposure to diverse customer segments and dining expectations.
In the domestic market, he has also been associated with Residency Resort Pvt. Ltd., where he gained experience in premium hospitality operations and guest-focused service models. His cross-market experience highlights operational adaptability and consistency in execution, both critical in multi-location restaurant businesses.
In his current role, Chef Adhikari will support the culinary leadership team in managing kitchen operations, maintaining product consistency, and delivering menu offerings aligned with the brand’s positioning in the Indian fine-dining segment.
