New San Francisco-Themed Restaurant Opens in Malviya Nagar

A new restaurant offering an authentic taste of San Franciscan cuisine has opened at the Eldeco Centre in Malviya Nagar. This establishment is the first of its kind to bring the essence of San Francisco, California, to India. 

The restaurant, named The Mission Bay, is the creation of Puja Sahu, an experienced entrepreneur and restaurateur known for founding The Potbelly Bihari Kitchen. The Mission Bay represents the culmination of a three-year planning process, inspired by Sahu’s extensive travel and dining experiences in San Francisco and its neighboring regions of Napa, Sonoma, and Healdsburg.

The restaurant’s concept revolves around a farm-to-table approach, incorporating a diverse range of influences from Mexican, Italian, Mediterranean, Japanese, and Korean cuisines. The menu is designed to reflect the multicultural nature of San Francisco while adhering to its culinary principles. A standout dish is the Hamachi Crudo, which highlights the Italian influence on San Francisco’s food scene, prepared with the freshest ingredients available.

The Mission Bay aims to offer a genuine San Francisco dining experience by combining a high-energy ambiance with a carefully curated menu, staying true to California’s diverse culinary heritage.
