Nando’s Expands to Hyderabad with New Outlet at RMZ Nexity

Nando’s PERi-PERi, the globally recognized South African restaurant brand, has officially opened its doors at RMZ Nexity in Hyderabad, marking its first location in the city. Known for its unique flame-grilled PERi-PERi chicken, this move strengthens Nando’s presence in India and brings its signature flavors to the food-loving city of Hyderabad.

"We are excited to bring our world-famous PERi-PERi flavors to Hyderabad, a city known for its food diversity and love for spice. This opening is a milestone for us as we continue to grow our presence in India," said Sameer Bhasin, CEO of Nando’s India. He explained that Nando’s flame-grilled chicken, basted with PERi-PERi sauce made from African Bird’s Eye Chilli, caters to the Indian palate, particularly its love for bold and spicy flavors.

Nando’s prides itself on using fresh ingredients, with all sauces, bastings, and marinades made without artificial flavors or colorants. The flame-grill technique not only enhances taste but also reduces fat content, with customers having the option to choose their preferred level of heat for the PERi-PERi chicken.

This new restaurant, referred to as a 'Casa,' is located in Hitech City, a bustling corporate hub in Hyderabad. The 2088-square-foot space features Southern African-inspired contemporary art and furniture, offering a vibrant atmosphere for nearly 74 diners. The restaurant is open daily from 11:30 AM to 11:30 PM, providing a comfortable space for locals to enjoy the flavors of Nando’s.

The opening of the Hyderabad outlet is part of Nando’s global journey, which began 36 years ago with its first location in Johannesburg, South Africa. Today, the brand spans over 24 countries and five continents, including cities such as London, Chicago, Sydney, and Kuala Lumpur. This latest expansion reflects Nando’s ongoing growth and commitment to bringing its renowned culinary experience to new markets in India.
