Mysore Tiffin Brings Regional South Indian Vegetarian Cuisine to Noida

Mysore Tiffin, a new 100 percent pure vegetarian restaurant, has opened in Noida with a menu focused on regional South Indian dishes beyond commonly served staples such as idli, dosa and vada. The concept has been developed by Priyakant Gautam, founder of Mysore Tiffin and MaatriBhoomi.

The restaurant is positioned as an extension of MaatriBhoomi’s focus on Indian regional cuisines, with Mysore Tiffin concentrating specifically on Southern India. Its menu includes over 50 vegetarian dishes, with Karnataka forming a major part of the offering.

A key part of the menu is Karnataka’s benne-style preparations, including Benne Saagu, Benne Masala Dosa and Benne Podi Dosa. Other dishes include Thaate Idli, Maddur Vada, Idli Fry, Goli Baje, Mangalore Buns and Beetroot Bonda.

The menu also includes regional rice dishes such as Donne Pulao, Bisi Bele Bhath and Gongura Rice, along with Poori Saagu and Parotta Kurma. Beverages include Filter Coffee, Badam Milk and Sol Kadi.

Priyakant Gautam, Founder of Mysore Tiffin and MaatriBhoomi, says, “South Indian cuisine carries extraordinary depth, yet outside the region it is often represented through only a handful of familiar dishes. Mysore Tiffin was created to bridge this gap and bring forward the recipes, ingredients and food traditions that deserve to be experienced and remembered. As an extension of MaatriBhoomi, it carries forward our commitment to preserving India’s culinary inheritance. We are not reinventing these dishes or turning them into fusion; we are presenting them with their identity, integrity and stories intact.”

Mysore Tiffin plans to introduce a collection of Southern Indian spices sourced directly from their respective regions of origin. The range is intended to extend the brand’s focus on regional ingredients and traditional cooking into home kitchens.

With its Noida launch, Mysore Tiffin is targeting consumers looking for a wider range of regional South Indian vegetarian food, while building its positioning around traditional recipes, regional provenance and culinary preservation.
