Ventive Hospitality Ltd has launched YALA, a Levantine restaurant at The Ritz-Carlton, Pune, expanding the hotel’s food and beverage offering with a concept centred on cuisine from the eastern Mediterranean.
The restaurant’s menu is led by Lebanese Head Chef Mohamad Hammady and draws on traditional Levantine cooking methods and flavours, alongside influences from neighbouring regions. The menu focuses on dishes designed for sharing, combining traditional preparations with contemporary interpretations. Its bar programme features cocktails built around Mediterranean ingredients, including herbs, citrus and spices.
The restaurant’s interiors use earthy colours and design elements inspired by Levantine craft traditions, adapted for a contemporary dining setting.
Ranjit Batra, CEO, Ventive Hospitality Ltd, said, “Food and beverage has always been very close to me personally, and it has been an important part of how we think about hospitality at Ventive. We have always stayed ahead of the curve by setting new trends. YALA is very much a reflection of that approach. It has been created with deep respect for the food, culture, music and people who gather around its tables. The restaurant celebrates the stories we bring with us and the new ones created along the way.”
The launch adds another dining concept to The Ritz-Carlton, Pune, as Ventive continues to develop its hospitality assets through food and beverage offerings.
