The Ten Opens in North Goa with Boutique Luxury and 50 Percent Occupancy Policy

The Ten, an all-suite luxury boutique resort, has opened in Siolim, marking the first North Goa property from the founders of Vivenda Dos Palhaços in Majorda and Ciaran's in Palolem. The resort expands the group's boutique hospitality portfolio into North Goa with a focus on personalised guest experiences and limited occupancy.

Located close to North Goa's beaches, restaurants and galleries, The Ten offers ten luxury suites and twenty-five bedrooms, which can be booked individually or reserved as an exclusive private estate for larger groups and family stays.

Manak Singh, Founder, The Ten Goa, said, "North Goa's luxury hospitality has long sat at one of two extremes: large commercial resorts where service feels industrial, or small boutique stays where it feels restricted. With The Ten, we have built for the space between them, a property where guests walk in and feel like a home away from home, rather than checked in."

One of the property's distinguishing operational features is its occupancy policy. The resort has announced that once 50 percent of its inventory is booked for specific dates, it will stop accepting further reservations for that period. The company said the approach is intended to maintain service levels and provide guests with a less crowded hospitality experience.

Designed by architect Rita Mody Joshi, the resort follows a "Timeless by Design" concept, with each suite featuring a different layout and interior palette. The property includes five pools, including a rooftop infinity pool overlooking the Siolim landscape.

The accommodation is centred around a shared courtyard, with each suite offering a private living room and stocked pantry. While five first-floor suites include private balconies, four ground-floor suites feature direct access to private plunge pools.

The food and beverage offering includes personalised menus developed with the head chef, covering North Indian, Coastal Goan, European, Italian and barbecue cuisines. Guests can also opt for The Ten Tables, a private five-to-six course dining experience served in-suite, by the pool or in the terrace garden.

The resort has also introduced an open bar policy under which breakfast is served until noon, while guests are permitted to bring their own alcoholic beverages without corkage charges. Bartender services are available on request. In addition, guests can order food from restaurants across North Goa, with the resort's team handling plating and presentation as part of its hospitality offering.

With its launch in Siolim, The Ten strengthens the growing boutique hospitality segment in Goa by combining personalised service, limited inventory and flexible guest experiences, while expanding the presence of the team behind two established boutique hospitality brands in the state.
