The Forresta Enters Goa With 35,000 Sq Ft Kinaro Destination

The Forresta Kitchen & Bar, a 15-year-old hospitality brand from Jaipur, has expanded into Goa with The Forresta Kinaro, a 35,000 sq. ft. all-day dining and entertainment destination on the Ashwem–Mandrem stretch.

The Goa launch marks the brand’s expansion beyond its existing properties in Jaipur and Udaipur, including its Jaipur Airport outlet. Kinaro is positioned as a large-format coastal dining operation designed to serve customers across different dayparts, from breakfast and lunch to sundowners and evening entertainment.

“We didn’t want to create another restaurant in Goa; we wanted to create a place that people could settle into and let the day unfold around them. You might come for lunch and stay through sunset, or sit down for a drink and find yourself there well into the night. That unplanned quality is something we really wanted Kinaro to capture.”, Pallavi & Maniesh Devraj

Spread across 35,000 sq. ft., Kinaro includes an indoor dining area, a sea-facing section, a semi-covered outdoor area with a performance stage and an open terrace. The multi-level layout gives the property separate operating zones, allowing it to accommodate dining, drinks and entertainment through the day and into the evening.

The restaurant’s food programme, led by Chef Vikas, follows a global menu covering seafood, sushi, dumplings, grills, Indian dishes, pastas and pizzas. Key dishes include Kingfish Ceviche, Prawn Tempura Koliwada, Butter & Chimichurri Prawns with Poi, Crispy Chilli Chonak and Murgh Nawabi Tikka.

The beverage programme is built around a cocktail menu titled “The Plan Was Different”, with drinks including Detour and Last One. The concept focuses on cocktails suited to extended daytime and evening visits.

Music is also part of the operating format, with the programming moving from lo-fi music during the day to sundowner sets and more energetic Bollywood-led evenings.

The Goa expansion extends The Forresta’s Jaipur-originated format into a coastal market while retaining links with its existing operations. The brand said ingredients will continue to travel from Jaipur, while the Goa property will operate with a more contemporary format suited to its location.
