The Bawa Kitchen has expanded its Mumbai presence with the opening of its second dine-in outlet in Chakala, Andheri East, following its Khar restaurant. The new outlet is positioned to serve the area's residential, corporate and lifestyle customer base, extending the brand's reach across Andheri East and nearby neighbourhoods.
The new restaurant has a seating capacity of 50 and follows a contemporary design approach incorporating elements associated with Punjab. The opening was accompanied by live dhol performances and turban-tying activities as part of the brand's Punjab-focused positioning.
The menu includes established dishes from The Bawa Kitchen such as Ambarsariya Chole Bhature, Murgh Biryani, Dal Makhni Rice Bowl, TBK Special Sarso Da Saag and Bawa’s OG Butter Chicken. The Chakala outlet is also offering a limited-period ₹199 promotion.
Vikramveer Singh Bawa, Director, Bawa Group of Hotels, said, “The Bawa Kitchen has always been driven by the idea of bringing authentic Punjabi food and the spirit of Punjab to a much larger audience. The Chakala launch is another step in that journey as we strengthen our presence across Mumbai. Our long-term vision is to continue exploring new locations and opportunities that allow us to take The Bawa Kitchen to more people, while staying true to the food, culture and hospitality that define us.”
The Chakala opening represents the brand's latest step in expanding its dine-in network within Mumbai while retaining its focus on Punjabi cuisine and hospitality.
