Sterling Holiday Resorts has opened Sterling Quinta Jim Corbett in Ramnagar, adding its second resort in the Corbett region and taking its presence in Uttarakhand to 11 properties. The launch also expands Sterling’s wildlife hospitality portfolio to 13 resorts, comprising more than 480 rooms and suites across key wildlife destinations in India.
Located in the Bail Parao–Kaladhungi belt of Ramnagar, the new resort gives Sterling a second operating base in the Corbett landscape. The company said the location is intended to provide access to the wider destination while offering an alternative to the more crowded tourism areas.
Sterling’s wildlife portfolio now covers destinations including Corbett, Gir, Kanha, Pench, Ranthambore, Sariska, Thekkady, Wayanad, Anaikatti and Tipeshwar, spanning tiger reserves, lion habitats, rainforest ecosystems and Himalayan forest regions.
Sterling Quinta Jim Corbett has 46 rooms across five categories, including units with private sit-outs, balconies and plunge pools. The property also includes a swimming pool, spa and Nectar, an all-day dining restaurant, along with outdoor activities.
The resort also adds an events component to Sterling’s leisure offering, with a 2,800 sq. ft. banquet hall and two landscaped lawns. These spaces are positioned for weddings, social events, corporate offsites and incentive travel.
Guests can access activities and attractions across the Corbett region, including safaris in the Phato and Sitabani forest zones, birdwatching and plantation walks. Nearby attractions include Chhoi Village, Shri Hanuman Dham, the Jim Corbett Museum and Corbett Falls.
Vikram Lalvani, Managing Director & CEO, Sterling Holiday Resorts Ltd, added, “Wildlife tourism in India is undergoing a significant transformation. Travellers today are looking for experiences that extend well beyond the safari—they want longer stays, meaningful engagement with nature and authentic connections with local landscapes and communities. Our strategy has been to build destination clusters across India’s most iconic wildlife regions, enabling guests to experience these destinations in richer and more diverse ways while enjoying the consistency of Sterling’s hospitality. Sterling Quinta Jim Corbett is another important milestone in strengthening that vision.”
Shailendra Goswami and Amit Aggarwal, partners at Shreena Hospitalities Pvt Limited, said, “Sterling Quinta Jim Corbett was envisioned as a peaceful, nature-connected retreat that complements the wider Corbett experience. Partnering with Sterling enables us to bring together the resort’s distinctive location and design with the scale, trust and hospitality expertise of the Sterling brand. With the blessings of Banke Bihari ji, we look forward to a lasting association and to establishing the resort as a preferred destination for families, wildlife travellers, celebrations and corporate retreats.”
The new property forms part of Sterling’s broader expansion across experiential travel categories, including wildlife, mountains, wellness, pilgrimage and heritage destinations, while strengthening its operating presence in Uttarakhand.
