Wyndham Hotels & Resorts has expanded its presence in Rajasthan with the opening of Wyndham Garden Udaipur Bhuwana, a 70-room property located in the hillside area of Bhuwana in Udaipur. The launch reflects the company’s continued growth strategy in India, particularly in leisure and wedding destinations.
Set within the Aravalli hills, the hotel has been developed to offer a resort-style environment with views of the surrounding landscape. The design incorporates traditional Rajasthani architecture, local materials, and open layouts intended to connect indoor spaces with the natural surroundings. The property positions itself as a retreat-oriented destination catering to leisure travellers seeking wellness-focused stays and quieter hospitality experiences.
The hotel also targets the destination wedding segment, a key driver of tourism in Udaipur. As Wyndham’s fifth property in the city, the development aligns with the growing demand for large-scale celebrations and experiential wedding venues in the region. The property includes a 557 square meter pillarless banquet hall along with an outdoor lawn designed to host weddings and private events.
“Udaipur is a destination that speaks to the soul, and Wyndham Garden Udaipur Bhuwana is designed to reflect that spirit. As our fifth hotel in the city, this opening represents our vision of hospitality that goes beyond comfort, offering restorative experiences and memorable celebrations that feel deeply connected to place, nature and wellbeing. It also marks the third Wyndham Garden to open in India in just two years, reflecting the strong demand for nature-led, experience-driven stays and the brand’s continued growth in the country,” said, Rahool Macarius, Market Managing Director, Eurasia, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts.
Despite its hillside setting, the hotel remains connected to key transport routes and tourist areas in the city. The property is located about a 30-minute drive from Maharana Pratap Airport, offering accessibility for leisure travellers as well as wedding and event guests visiting the city.
The development has been undertaken in partnership with Zappy Holidays Resorts and managed by NILE Hospitality. According to the partners, the project is intended to combine regional cultural elements with international hospitality standards.
“We are proud to unveil Wyndham Garden Udaipur Bhuwana, a resort that combines Rajasthan’s rich heritage with immersive guest experiences. In partnership with Wyndham and Zappy Holidays Resorts, we are creating a destination that offers culture, luxury, and unforgettable stays for travellers from around the world,” said Vikram Singh Chauhan, Founder and CEO, NILE Hospitality.
The hotel includes a range of facilities such as 24/7 room service, free WiFi, a business centre, gym, outdoor swimming pool, spa with steam room, and concierge services. Additional guest amenities include a courtyard high-tea experience, a game room, a children’s pool and play area, as well as travel desk services and on-site parking. Each non-smoking room includes a private balcony along with standard modern amenities.
“Our goal was to create a sanctuary, a place where guests feel grounded, restored, and connected to the timeless beauty of Udaipur. Whether for a peaceful retreat or a once-in-a-lifetime wedding, Wyndham Garden Udaipur Bhuwana offers an experience that stays with you long after you leave,” added, Durgesh Kumawat, Proprietor, Zappy Holidays Resorts, managed by NILE Hospitality.
The opening further strengthens the collaboration between Wyndham and NILE Hospitality, which currently operates seven hotels together across India, including Ramada Encore Udaipur and Ramada by Wyndham Ranchi. The companies are also working under an exclusive development agreement to introduce the Microtel by Wyndham brand in India, with plans to open 40 Microtel properties across the country by 2031.
