Restaurant India News: Nasi and Mee Launches ‘Simply Sedap’ Limited-Time Menu Featuring Southeast Asian Comfort Dishes

Nasi and Mee has introduced a limited-time menu titled “Simply Sedap,” expanding its offering with a range of richer Southeast Asian dishes as part of a strategy to drive seasonal menu engagement and repeat visits.

The new menu focuses on well-known regional dishes presented with more indulgent flavour profiles, reflecting the growing consumer demand for bold Asian flavours and comfort-driven dining experiences across urban restaurant markets.

Among the dishes featured is Truffle Xiao Long Bao, where soup dumplings are paired with aromatic broth and truffle flavouring. Another addition is Singapore Carrot Cake (Chai Tow Kway), prepared with pan-seared radish cake and finished with XO chilli to create a smoky and savoury flavour profile.

The menu also includes Wonton Mee, a noodle-based dish combining springy noodles with dumplings and char siu chicken, designed to reflect familiar Southeast Asian street-style comfort meals while maintaining a premium restaurant format.

For guests looking for stronger spice and flavour combinations, the menu includes Ayam Penyet, featuring smashed fried chicken served with sambal and jasmine rice. Massaman Curry has also been added as part of the line-up, bringing together coconut milk, peanuts and warm spices in a slow-cooked curry format. To complete the menu, the restaurant has introduced Kaya Bao, a soft steamed bun filled with house-made kaya and coconut notes, offering a lighter dessert option that draws from traditional Southeast Asian flavours.

With the launch of Simply Sedap, Nasi and Mee continues to expand its regional menu exploration while responding to consumer interest in authentic Asian comfort food in a modern dining setting. Limited-time menus such as these are increasingly being used by restaurant brands to create periodic menu refreshes and maintain customer engagement in competitive dining markets.
