As The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts completes four decades in the luxury hospitality segment, the group is scaling its wellness-led offerings under the Aujasya platform, aligning with changing consumer demand for integrated wellbeing experiences. Originally introduced in 2022, Aujasya by The Leela has been developed as a structured wellness framework that combines nutrition, movement, and guided practices to support guest wellbeing.
The programme is built around three pillars—Shakti, Shanti, and Soumya—focusing on energy, mental balance, and overall wellness. These elements are translated into guest-facing services designed to support restoration and consistency during travel.
“At The Leela, wellness has always been about creating meaningful, lasting experiences that go beyond the physical. With Aujasya by The Leela, we are bringing together India’s timeless wisdom with a more intuitive, rhythm-led approach to modern wellbeing - one that allows our guests to feel restored, balanced and truly in tune with themselves,” said Anupam Dasgupta, Senior Vice President – Operations, North and Head of Wellness.
On the occasion of World Health Day 2026, the company has introduced two new components under the Aujasya platform—Aujasya Sampoorna and the Aujasya Signature Ritual. These additions reflect the brand’s focus on structured, outcome-driven wellness services within hotel environments.
Aujasya Sampoorna is positioned as a curated dining programme addressing disruptions in guest routines during travel. The offering includes meal plans such as Anti-Inflammatory, Detox, and High-Protein, along with a homestyle “Ghar Ka Khaana” option delivered in a traditional format. The meals are designed to integrate into daily schedules across in-room dining, on-property consumption, and external work environments, with an emphasis on flexibility and personalisation.
“With Sampoorna, the intention was to move beyond the idea of ‘healthy eating’ and instead create a system of nourishment that adapts to individual lifestyles. Each menu is thoughtfully designed to support specific outcomes - whether it is energy, recovery or balance - while drawing from both traditional knowledge and modern nutritional science to enhance how the body receives and responds to food,” said Ankita Jalori.
The Aujasya Signature Ritual complements the dining programme through a 90-minute spa format structured around sequential sensory therapies. The experience includes a foot ritual, herbal applications, oil-based therapies, and sound-based elements, followed by a tea ritual to conclude the session. The format is designed to deliver a standardised wellness experience across properties.
The company has also begun rolling out dedicated Aujasya spa spaces, with the first operational at The Leela Palace Jaipur, and additional locations planned across its portfolio. Future expansion includes Aujasya Retreats, which will focus on immersive, multi-day experiences targeting niche wellness segments and community-driven travel.
The expansion reflects a broader shift toward integrated wellness ecosystems within luxury hospitality, where dining, spa, and experiential programming are combined into unified offerings. With this development, The Leela is positioning Aujasya as a scalable wellness platform aligned with both domestic and international demand for structured wellbeing experiences.
