Restaurant India News: The Fern Residency Vadodara Opens, Taking Group’s Gujarat Portfolio to 42 Properties

The Fern Hotels & Resorts has expanded its presence in Gujarat with the launch of The Fern Residency Vadodara, Alkapuri, a Series by Marriott property. The opening adds to the hospitality group's growing regional portfolio, taking its total number of operational and upcoming properties in Gujarat to 42 and its overall portfolio across India to 190.

Located in Vadodara’s Alkapuri area, the hotel is positioned to cater to a mix of business travellers, event attendees and leisure guests. Its location provides access to the city's commercial districts, industrial hubs and transportation infrastructure, aligning with the increasing demand for accommodation from corporate and event-driven travel segments.

The hotel also offers banquet and meeting facilities aimed at supporting conferences, corporate events, weddings and social gatherings, reflecting the growing importance of event-led revenue streams within the hospitality sector.

The hotel is located approximately 7 km from Vadodara Airport, 1.5 km from Vadodara Railway Station and 1.5 km from Vadodara Bus Stand. As part of the Series by Marriott portfolio, guests staying at the property will also have access to the Marriott Bonvoy loyalty programme.
