Restaurant India News: The Fern Hotels Launches Coastal Clean-Up Initiative Across India

The Fern Hotels & Resorts conducted a nationwide coastal cleanup initiative titled “When Blue Meets Green” across its properties located along India’s coastal regions. The initiative was designed to support environmental conservation efforts while encouraging responsible tourism practices within the hospitality sector.

As part of the campaign, eight Fern properties participated in the clean-up activity across various coastal destinations. The combined effort resulted in the collection of 630 kilograms of waste from nearby beaches and coastal areas, including plastic items, packaging materials, and other non-biodegradable debris.

The program saw participation from hotel staff and volunteers who worked together to remove waste from coastal stretches close to the participating properties. The initiative aimed to highlight the role of hospitality businesses in supporting environmental stewardship while contributing to the protection of marine ecosystems.

Properties that participated in the drive included The Fern Habitat Goa Candolim, The Fern Kochi, The Fern Seaside Luxurious Tent Resort Daman, Blue Ocean The Fern Resort & Spa Ganpatipule, The Fern Residency Mumbai Chembur, Iscon The Fern Resort & Spa Bhavnagar, The Fern Kadamba Hotel & Spa Goa Panjim, and The Fern Seaside Resort Diu.

Through programs such as this coastal clean-up campaign, The Fern Hotels & Resorts continues to focus on sustainability initiatives across its portfolio while promoting environmental awareness and community participation across destinations where it operates.
