Indian premium spirits brand Smoke Lab Vodka has entered the United Kingdom, marking another step in its international expansion strategy as it introduces its basmati rice-based vodka portfolio to British consumers.
Founded in 2019 by Varun Jain and Sanya Jain, second-generation entrepreneurs of NV Group, Smoke Lab has positioned itself as India's premium rice vodka brand. The company said the UK launch strengthens its presence in international markets and expands its reach within the premium spirits category.
Produced using premium Indian basmati rice, Smoke Lab is distilled five times and is offered as a naturally gluten-free and vegan vodka. The brand has also received international recognition, including Double Gold and Innovation Awards at the SIP Awards.
The company has introduced its portfolio to the UK market with variants including Smoke Lab Classic, Smoke Lab Saffron, Smoke Lab Aniseed, Smoke Lab Green Chilli Mango, and Smoke Lab Liquid Gold, which contains 24-karat edible gold flakes.
Varun Jain, Founder & CEO of Smoke Lab Vodka, said, "London has long been a global hub for culture, creativity and premium spirits. Launching Smoke Lab here is a proud moment for us and an important milestone in our global journey. From day one, our ambition was to create a world-class vodka from India that could stand alongside the best in the industry, and our presence in London reflects both the progress we've made and the opportunities that lie ahead."
Sanya Jain, Co-Founder of Smoke Lab Vodka and Creative Director of Smoke Lab Wear, added, "Smoke Lab was created to offer a fresh and contemporary expression of India, one that combines authenticity, craftsmanship and design. We are excited to introduce the brand to the UK through a market that celebrates creativity, culture and discovery."
The UK expansion comes as premium spirits brands continue to target markets where consumers are increasingly exploring craft products and internationally inspired flavour profiles.
Smoke Lab is currently available across India, the USA, the UAE, and the UK. The company also plans to expand its presence across Europe, South America, and Southeast Asia as part of its ongoing international growth strategy.
