RI Exclusive: GOPIZZA Appoints Mahesh Reddy as India Co-Founder, Targets 100 K-Food Stores by 2026

Global food-tech company GOPIZZA, known for operating one of the world's largest single-serve pizza chains, has appointed Mahesh Reddy as the co-founder of its India business. The move acknowledges his pivotal role in transforming India into one of GOPIZZA's strongest international markets and signals the company's next phase of growth for its K-Food Platform.

With over 26 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, Reddy has been instrumental in shaping GOPIZZA's India journey since introducing the brand in 2022 as CEO. Under his leadership, the company expanded to more than 60 outlets, making it one of India's largest Korean quick-service restaurant (QSR) chains. By combining GOPIZZA's proprietary food technology with menus tailored to Indian tastes, the business has emerged as one of the brand's most profitable and high-performing international markets.

"Mahesh has been the driving force behind making India one of GOPIZZA's most successful international markets," said Jay Lim, Founder and CEO of GOPIZZA. "His appointment as co-founder reflects everything he has already built, and how much further we believe he can take this business."

"Beyond pizza, we want to build a broader K-food ecosystem under our 'K-Food Platform' vision," said Mahesh Reddy, Co-Founder, GOPIZZA India. "We want to give Indian consumers a way to experience Korean food and culture together, not separately. Bringing GOPIZZA, Korean street-food brand Gochujang, and Korean dessert brand Dalkomi under one roof is how we plan to do that."

The company's expansion strategy is centred on its innovative "3-in-1 Hub Model," which brings together all three of its brands under one roof. The integrated format is designed to improve operational efficiency while maximising revenue per square foot. After successful pilots at company-owned outlets in South India, GOPIZZA is now gearing up for a nationwide rollout.

"India has become a real proof point for our K-food strategy globally," Lim added. "With this multi-brand model and our master franchise push, we're confident GOPIZZA is positioned to grow in India's dynamic food-service industry and reach our goal of 100 integrated stores across the country by 2026."

To fuel this expansion, GOPIZZA is adopting a Master Franchise model, inviting experienced food-service operators and investors to introduce the 3-in-1 concept across key markets, including Delhi NCR, Pune, and Ahmedabad. Through a single franchise agreement, partners gain access to all three brands, supported by the company's patented plug-and-play kitchen technology that delivers operational consistency and high product quality without requiring extensive culinary expertise.
