Restaurant India News: Shiv Sagar Launches 10,000 Sq. Ft. Restaurant in Pune’s Kothrud Area

Shiv Sagar Group has expanded its presence in Pune with the opening of its third outlet in the city, located in Kothrud. The launch is part of the brand’s ongoing growth strategy across Mumbai and Pune and takes its total network to 17 outlets.

The new restaurant introduces an updated dining format that focuses on guest experience while retaining the brand’s established family dining positioning. Situated in Kothrud, one of Pune’s key residential and commercial neighbourhoods, the outlet occupies a 10,000 sq. ft. bungalow and has a seating capacity of 250 guests spread across three floors.

The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating and has been designed to accommodate family dining, group gatherings and celebrations. The outlet also features live food stations for key menu categories such as Pav Bhaji, Dosas and Filter Kaapi, reflecting the growing industry trend of incorporating interactive dining elements into restaurant formats.

In addition to its core offerings, the restaurant has expanded its menu with regional dishes including Mangalore Buns, Appe and Golibajje, alongside other Indian menu additions. The outlet also includes a dedicated banquet facility aimed at hosting small-scale celebrations, social events and community gatherings.

The new outlet also offers facilities such as valet parking and larger seating layouts to improve customer convenience. While the company’s Ubale Nagar outlet remains its largest property in Pune, the Kothrud location has been developed as one of the brand’s most experience-focused restaurants in the city.

The launch reflects the increasing focus among restaurant operators on larger-format outlets that combine dining, events and experiential elements under one roof. With the addition of the Kothrud restaurant, Shiv Sagar continues to strengthen its position in Pune while pursuing further expansion opportunities in the region.
