Mumbai-based café brand Lavender Bakery & Desserts has expanded its presence with the opening of its second outlet in Versova, marking the next phase of its growth in the city’s organised café and dessert segment. The brand, recognised as Mumbai’s first lavender-themed café, entered the market with its Kandivali East outlet and has since built a steady consumer base for its dessert-focused menu and café format.

The Versova launch reflects increasing demand for differentiated café concepts in high-footfall urban neighbourhoods. Positioned as a neighbourhood café, the new outlet extends Lavender Bakery & Desserts’ core offerings, including its dessert range, coffee selections, and baked products, to a wider customer base in western Mumbai.

The Versova outlet was officially launched on 14th December. The opening event was attended by Bigg Boss 19 celebrity Neelam Giri, a Bhojpuri actress and television personality, drawing visibility to the brand’s expansion into a key lifestyle and dining hub.

The launch event took place on December 14th between 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM, serving as a consumer engagement initiative aimed at building local awareness in the Versova market.
