Jubilant FoodWorks Ltd (JFL), one of India’s largest quick service restaurant operators, reported a 6.2 percent increase in domestic revenue to Rs 1,686 crore for the March quarter of FY26, indicating steady demand in the core market despite a competitive consumption environment.
For the full financial year, the company recorded revenue of Rs 6,887.8 crore. JFL operates franchise rights for global QSR brands such as Domino's Pizza and Popeyes in India and select international markets.
On a consolidated basis, including overseas operations, revenue for the March quarter stood at Rs 2,505.8 crore, reflecting a 19.1 percent year-on-year increase. For FY26, consolidated revenue from operations reached Rs 9,544.1 crore, up 17.2 percent year-on-year, as per the company’s regulatory filing.
“During the quarter, 69 new stores were added to the JFL group network, taking the total store count to 3,663 as at the end of the quarter,” the company stated.
Store expansion remained a key driver during the period. JFL added 59 new outlets for Domino’s in India, taking the total store count to 2,455, positioning the country as the brand’s second-largest market globally after the US. Internationally, Domino’s operations in Turkey expanded with the addition of 4 stores, bringing the network there to 787 outlets. The company noted that the quarterly update is provisional and subject to limited review or audit by statutory auditors.
With operations across six international markets, including Turkey, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Azerbaijan, and Georgia, JFL continues to build a diversified QSR footprint. Incorporated in 1995, the company also operates in-house brands such as Hong’s Kitchen and café concept COFFY in Turkey, alongside its global franchise portfolio.
In a strategic shift, JFL recently confirmed that it will not renew its franchise agreement for Dunkin' in India and will gradually exit the brand’s operations. The existing agreement, signed on February 24, 2011, is set to expire on December 31, 2026.
At the same time, the company has renewed its exclusive franchise agreement with Domino’s Pizza International Franchising Inc for a period of 15 years, with an option to extend it by an additional 10 years, reinforcing its long-term focus on the pizza category.
Industry analysts indicate that the company’s continued investment in store expansion and portfolio realignment reflects a sharper focus on high-performing brands and scalable formats, particularly in markets with sustained demand for quick service dining.
