Andaz Delhi by Hyatt has appointed Mandeep Sodhi as Director of Human Resources for Andaz Delhi and Hyatt Delhi Residences, in a move that reflects a continued focus on strengthening people strategy and workforce management within the organisation.
Sodhi brings 15 years of experience across hospitality and corporate sectors, with expertise in HR advisory, organisational governance, and talent strategy. She has previously worked with Marriott International, MRG Group, HSBC, and Accor, where she handled leadership development, talent management, and process optimisation initiatives.
Prior to this role, she served as Director of People and Culture at Fairmont Udaipur Palace, where she was involved in the property’s launch. Her responsibilities included workforce expansion, setting up HR frameworks, and implementing performance-focused systems aligned with operational requirements.
Her appointment comes at a time when hospitality operators are placing increased emphasis on employee engagement, retention, and aligning HR practices with business outcomes. In her new role, Sodhi will oversee HR functions across both properties, working closely with operational teams to drive engagement, talent development, and process efficiency.
Hardip Marwah, Cluster General Manager, said, “We are excited to welcome Mandeep to the Hyatt family. Her expertise, energy and fresh perspectives will be invaluable as we continue to nurture our culture, empower our teams and deliver exceptional experiences for our guests.”
Industry analysts note that structured HR leadership is becoming critical in hospitality, particularly in managing large workforces, improving service consistency, and supporting expansion strategies in competitive urban markets.
