Restaurant India News: ITC Hotels Takes Storii Brand to Jawai, Ranthambore and Gir Regions

ITC Hotels Limited (ITCHL) has announced the expansion of its boutique hospitality brand, Storii by ITC Hotels, into some of India’s most prominent wildlife destinations, marking a strategic move to strengthen its presence in nature-led leisure travel. The brand is set to enter Jawai, Ranthambore, Dhari Gir, and Sasan Gir, positioning Storii within high-demand national park circuits and biodiversity zones.

Anil Chadha, Managing Director, ITC Hotels Limited, said, “We are pleased to steer the expansion of Storii by ITC Hotels into some of India’s most prominent wildlife destinations including Jawai, Ranthambore, Sasan Gir & Dhari Gir. This enables us to curate nature-led experiences that embody the brand’s intimate and distinctive character. We look forward to strengthening brand Storii’s footprint while contributing meaningfully to the growth of India’s wildlife tourism.”

Storii by ITC Hotels Jawai will feature 15 guestrooms and premium tents, located amid the region’s granite landscapes known for leopard sightings and birdlife. The destination has emerged as a year-round wildlife and leisure market, attracting travellers seeking low-density, experiential stays. Vilamb Singh, Director, 1st Gate Luxe Private Limited, said, “Joining hands with ITC Hotels for Storii Jawai is an exciting opportunity to showcase the bespoke beauty of this region. Together, we aim to create a journey that blends local traditions and authentic hospitality.”

In Rajasthan, Storii by ITC Hotels Ranthambore will operate as a 40-key boutique retreat near Ranthambore National Park, a key domestic and international wildlife tourism hub. Mohammed Arif and Mohammed Asif, Partners, Bagh-E-Khaas, said, “Storii Ranthambore is a natural alignment with ITC Hotels. Our values too are rooted in heritage and service excellence. We are delighted to bring a soulful sanctuary to this grand wilderness.”

In Gujarat, Storii by ITC Hotels Sasan Gir will offer 26 guestrooms within the Gir National Park region, the only natural habitat of the Asiatic lion. The property is designed to integrate with the surrounding orchards and forest ecosystem. Hirenkumar Jashubhai Barad, owner of the project, said, “We are pleased to be associated with ITC Hotels and believe that Storii by ITC Hotels will help us provide special wildlife sightseeing moments at Sasan Gir, and will also give an opportunity to contribute to the local economy.”

Also in the Gir landscape, Storii by ITC Hotels Dhari Gir will feature 60 guestrooms along a quieter section of the Gir ecosystem, targeting travellers seeking extended leisure stays near wildlife corridors. Pankaj Lodhiya, Partner, Star Developers, said, “Our vision for Storii Dhari Gir is to create a sanctuary that reflects Gir’s distinctive character and offer holistic leisure holiday experiences. Collaborating with ITC Hotels allows us to harmonize thoughtful service, offering travelers an escape into the great outdoors.”

With this expansion, ITC Hotels continues to scale its asset-light and partnership-driven growth strategy, aligning boutique hospitality with wildlife tourism and regional development. The move reflects increasing demand for organised, high-quality stays in India’s national park destinations, as leisure travel shifts toward experiential and nature-based formats.
