Restaurant India News: Hydrama Debuts in Sector 50 With All-Day Sports Bar Concept

Hydrama, a new sports bar located in Sector 50 that aims to operate as an all-day dining and entertainment venue. The concept is designed to function beyond the typical late-night bar model, offering an experience that evolves throughout the day.

Founded by Priykant Gautam, the venue has been positioned as a multi-format hospitality space combining dining, cocktails, music programming, and sports screenings. Instead of focusing only on nightlife, the concept has been developed to accommodate daytime gatherings, evening sporting events, and late-night social activity.

According to the company, the venue’s operational design is structured around changing moods during different times of the day. Sound programming, lighting systems, live performances, and match-day viewing formats have been integrated to create a continuous entertainment environment rather than a fixed-format bar experience.

The interior design incorporates visual elements inspired by live sporting arenas. Industrial materials, neon lighting, graffiti artwork, and LED scoreboards form the core design language of the venue. The layout also includes multiple seating zones that allow the space to shift between casual daytime use and higher-energy evening service.

The beverage programme focuses on performance-style cocktail preparation. Drinks are prepared using techniques such as smoking, flaming, and infusion, with several cocktail concepts referencing well-known sporting moments. The approach aims to add an experiential component to the bar service.

The food offering includes a selection of bar-style dishes and globally inspired small plates. The menu features elevated bar classics, artisanal pizzas, and shareable platters designed for group dining and longer guest stays. The format reflects a broader trend in the hospitality industry where sports bars are evolving into hybrid dining and entertainment venues.

Gautam said, “I wanted Hydrama to feel alive, a space that builds energy through the day and peaks at night. It’s not about watching the game or the DJ; it’s about being part of the atmosphere that unfolds around you.”

Industry observers note that venues combining sports viewing, live entertainment, and social dining are gaining popularity in urban markets as consumers seek more immersive leisure experiences. With its launch in Sector 50, Hydrama enters a competitive hospitality market while aiming to position itself as a social gathering space designed for all-day engagement.
