Blondie by Bastian has introduced delivery services through the platforms Swiggy and Zomato. The move allows customers to order the café’s menu offerings directly to their homes across the Bandra neighbourhood.
Located in Bandra, the café has built a customer base through its design-focused space, dessert offerings, and beverage menu since opening. With the addition of delivery, the brand aims to extend its reach beyond the physical café and cater to customers seeking convenient access to its menu items.
The decision reflects a broader shift in the hospitality industry, where cafés and casual dining venues are increasingly integrating delivery channels to complement dine-in experiences. By partnering with established food delivery platforms, the brand is expanding the ways customers can access its products.
Through the new service, customers can order a selection of the café’s desserts, beverages, and comfort-style dishes. The delivery option is intended to cater to a range of occasions including at-home dining, casual gatherings, and gifting.
Natasha Hemani said, “Blondie was always designed to be part of people’s daily rituals. Delivery allows us to extend that experience beyond the café - whether it’s someone starting their morning with a matcha at home or sending a Blondie order to a friend.”
Industry observers note that the expansion of café brands into delivery platforms has accelerated in recent years as urban consumers increasingly seek convenience without compromising on specialty food and beverage offerings. Digital ordering has become a key channel for cafés looking to increase accessibility while maintaining brand visibility within competitive city markets.
With the addition of delivery through Swiggy and Zomato, Blondie by Bastian joins a growing number of hospitality brands adapting their business models to include both in-store and online consumption formats, reflecting the evolving dynamics of Mumbai’s food and beverage industry.
