Mumbai-based restaurant Fielia, located above Soraia, is set to introduce a new dining format with the launch of its first Supper Theatre experience in January. The concept marks Fielia’s entry into immersive, experience-led dining, combining a structured culinary menu with storytelling and beverage pairings presented in a controlled, time-bound format.
The debut Supper Theatre will feature Chef Avinash Martins, known for his modern interpretation of Goan cuisine. The experience will be hosted across two dates, January 24 and 25, 2026, and will follow a curated seven-course menu paired with two signature cocktails. The format is designed as a sequential dining experience, where courses are served in a paced manner intended to align with a narrative flow rather than a conventional meal service.
Chef Avinash Martins said, “Food has always been my way of telling stories. This time, I’m bringing Goa to Mumbai — not just through flavour, but through feeling. With Supper Theatre at Fielia, the idea is to make every course a scene, every ingredient a memory, and every moment at the table part of the narrative. It begins playful, turns soulful, and ends beautifully.”
The menu has been conceptualised exclusively for this event and includes seven dishes developed around Chef Martins’ approach to ingredient-led cooking and regional references. Dish titles such as Poder Poder Ponk Ponk, Paint My Love, Picnic at the Farm, and The Shepherds of Netravali reflect the structured progression of the meal. The menu places emphasis on seasonal produce, with ingredients such as coconut, pumpkin, jackfruit, and spices used to highlight regional influences and culinary context.
The experience is complemented by two signature cocktails created specifically for the Supper Theatre evenings. These cocktails are positioned as part of the overall dining sequence, served at defined points during the meal to align with the pacing and tone of the experience.
Dhaval Udeshi, Co-Founder, Fielia, said, “We wanted to create something that feels rarer than a reservation. Supper Theatre at Fielia is about precision, storytelling, and that intimate energy you only get when a room is fully present. It’s not loud. It’s not rushed. It’s immersive, elevated, and deeply human — the kind of evening you leave thinking about the next day.”
The Supper Theatre format will be hosted at Fielia with limited seating and will run for two evenings only. The experience is priced at Rs 10,000 per person and will begin at 7:30 pm onwards. Reservations will be accepted strictly in advance due to limited capacity.
With this initiative, Fielia positions itself within the growing segment of experiential dining in India, where restaurants are increasingly experimenting with formats that combine food, storytelling, and curated service to create differentiated offerings beyond standard fine dining.
