Restaurant India News: Courtside Launches Luxury Social Padel Club in Mumbai

Courtside, a luxury social padel club located at Atria Mall, Worli. Spread across approximately 20,000 square feet, the venue combines sports, food and beverage, wellness and community-focused experiences within a single destination.

Co-founded by Hardik Vardhan, Shyam Utamsingh and Shoumik Shetty, Courtside has been developed around a format that integrates hospitality with recreational sports, reflecting changing consumer preferences for experience-led social spaces.

The venue features three padel courts and one pickleball court, positioned alongside the restaurant and cocktail bar to create an interactive environment where sporting activity remains visible throughout the venue.

Hardik Vardhan, Co-Founder, Courtside, said, "Courtside was built with the belief that great destinations are created around how people want to spend their time today. We wanted to develop a space where sport, hospitality and community come together naturally, creating an environment that people enjoy returning to beyond the game."

Shoumik Shetty, Co-Founder, Courtside, added, "Consumer behaviour is shifting towards experiences that combine movement, social interaction and hospitality. Courtside is our response to that shift, bringing together sport, food, wellness and culture in a single destination designed for everyday engagement."

Beyond sports infrastructure, Courtside includes The Optimist, an all-day bistro and bar offering a menu of international dishes, smoothies and cocktails. Wellbeing has partnered with the venue as its official protein smoothie partner, while the beverage programme includes cocktails inspired by international sporting events, including the Courtside Honey Deuce, alongside drinks referencing The Masters and Arnold Palmer.

The property also incorporates Every Morning Cartel, a specialty coffee and matcha concept, expanding its daytime food and beverage offering. Wellness facilities include fitness sessions curated by Physique 57, as well as recovery amenities such as ice baths, saunas and shower facilities.

To support player development, Courtside has partnered with Evolve Padel, led by India's number one padel duo, offering coaching programmes for both beginners and experienced players.

The founders also designed the venue's architectural layout, focusing on circulation, lighting, materials and guest movement to create a hospitality-driven environment that supports dining, recreation and social interaction throughout the day.

Programming at the club will include leagues, tournaments, wellness sessions, brunches, sundowners and community events. Bookings will be managed through the Courtside App and HUDLE, while Courtside Circle, a referral-based membership programme, will provide selected members with priority bookings and access to curated experiences.
