Barbeque Nation has launched a new outlet at CP67 Mall, marking its third restaurant in Mohali and fourth across the Chandigarh Tri-City region. With this addition, the brand now operates eight restaurants in Punjab, reinforcing its cluster-based expansion strategy in North India.
The inauguration included the participation of over 20 children from the evening school run by Aashray Foundation, led by Shane Bakshi. The opening ceremony was followed by a hosted lunch organised by the brand.
Located within CP67 Mall, the outlet continues Barbeque Nation’s established dine-in model built around its live grill-at-the-table format and unlimited buffet structure. The format remains positioned for group dining, celebrations and family occasions, with a layout designed to accommodate high table turnover while maintaining a standardised dining experience.
Ankit Purohit, Assistant Regional Manager (Operations), North, stated, “The launch of our 4th restaurant in Chandigarh Tri-City and 8th in Punjab reflects the strong affinity the region has for the Barbeque Nation experience. CP67 Mall, Mohali, enables us to connect with a broader audience while delivering our signature hospitality and flavours.”
The buffet menu includes a mix of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options such as Char-Grilled Sweet N Spicy Pineapple, Lebanese Mushrooms, Cheesy Broccoli, Masaledar Chicken Tangdi, Coastal Grilled Fish, and Chilli Garlic Grilled Prawns, prepared using the brand’s established marinades and grilling processes. The unlimited format continues to be a key driver of volume-led revenue in mall-based locations.
Umang Jindal, CEO, Homeland Group, said, “We are pleased to welcome Barbeque Nation to CP67 Mall. The brand’s legacy and interactive dining format complement our vision of building a holistic lifestyle and entertainment destination, further strengthening CP67’s F&B mix.”
The expansion strengthens Barbeque Nation’s footprint across the Tri-City region comprising Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula. The brand’s cluster approach in Punjab suggests continued focus on high-density urban centres and mall-driven footfall, leveraging scale efficiencies and brand familiarity to sustain growth in the organised casual dining segment.
