Azula Asian Bistro & Café has expanded its footprint in the capital with the launch of a new outlet in Shivalik, introducing a more compact, café-oriented format aimed at strengthening its presence in the casual premium dining segment.
The new space has been positioned as an indoor dining destination with a simplified design approach, focusing on functionality and comfort. The format is intended to cater to multiple dining occasions, including short visits, informal meetings, and extended meals, reflecting a shift towards flexible dining environments in urban markets.
The menu continues to build on the brand’s Pan-Asian positioning with global influences, maintaining a mix of established and new offerings. Core dishes such as sizzling stone pot preparations and volcano sushi remain part of the lineup, alongside additions like the Goma-ae burrata salad, which combines familiar ingredients with Asian flavour profiles. The outlet has also expanded its small plates and dessert sections, including items such as apple pie wontons with salted caramel, aligning with the increasing demand for shareable and indulgent formats.
The business is led by Manu Chadha and Nisha Kakumanu Chadha, who bring experience from hospitality operations across India and the United States. Their focus remains on ingredient quality, operational consistency, and menu-driven positioning as key differentiators in a competitive market.
With an average cost for two of approximately Rs 1800, the outlet is positioned within the accessible premium category. The café operates across two dayparts, from 12 PM to 4 PM and 6 PM to midnight, targeting both daytime and evening dining demand.
The Shivalik location is also designed to accommodate private events, with a capacity ranging from 50 to 150 guests, allowing the brand to tap into small-format celebrations and group dining occasions.
The launch reflects a broader trend of established restaurant brands introducing smaller, café-led formats to increase market penetration while maintaining brand identity. With this addition, Azula continues to focus on a food-first strategy, aiming to deliver consistent offerings across formats while adapting to evolving consumer preferences in Delhi’s dining market.
