Restaurant India News: ATE Glasshouse Launches in Meharchand Market, Expands Delhi Café Portfolio

ATE Glasshouse, the latest concept by Altogether Experimental, has opened in Meharchand Market, adding a new format to Delhi’s evolving café sector. The outlet introduces a vertically structured layout designed to deliver multiple dining and social experiences within a single property.

The café has been developed as a layered space, moving from an open street-facing entry to upper-level dining areas and terraces. Key functional zones such as dining, kitchen, balconies, and terraces are visually connected, allowing movement across public and semi-private areas. The design uses glass, metal, and neutral finishes to maintain a consistent environment focused on utility and customer flow.

In line with changing consumer expectations, the property also integrates cultural programming into its layout. Interior walls have been designed as rotating exhibition spaces, allowing collaborations with museums, galleries, and independent artists. This approach positions the café as a hybrid venue combining food service with cultural engagement, a model increasingly seen in urban hospitality markets.

The concept has been developed by Anukriti Anand and Vicky Mandal, who have expanded Altogether Experimental through multiple formats in Delhi. The brand operates on a model that combines specialty coffee, all-day dining, and dessert-focused offerings within neighbourhood-driven spaces.

The new outlet targets a wide consumer base, including early morning customers, brunch traffic, and evening diners. The format is structured to support both short-duration visits and extended dining occasions, aligning with demand patterns in high-footfall urban locations.

The menu strategy reflects a mix of global and comfort-driven offerings. Beverage options include signature coffee formats such as Ate Fluff Latte and Not Whiskey Sour, while the food menu spans brunch and main-course items. Dishes include Cilbir Turkish Eggs, Tiramisu & Gianduja Pancakes, and Chicken Katsu Bowl, along with lighter options such as Caprese-style preparations. A dedicated dessert counter adds an additional revenue stream within the outlet.

Altogether Experimental has been expanding its presence through multiple formats in Delhi, including ATE Greens and ATE Caves. Each concept operates with a distinct positioning while maintaining a consistent brand framework centred on coffee, food, and customer experience.

The launch of ATE Glasshouse reflects a broader shift in the café industry towards multi-use spaces that combine dining with cultural and social functions. As competition increases in urban markets, operators are focusing on differentiated formats and neighbourhood integration to drive repeat customer engagement.
