My Barrel & Beyond has expanded its premium spirits portfolio with the launch of Emberstone Irish Whiskey in India, marking its entry into the country's growing premium whiskey segment. Produced in Ireland using traditional distilling techniques, the brand aims to cater to Indian consumers seeking globally crafted premium spirits with a focus on quality and heritage.
The company said Emberstone has been developed around traditional Irish whiskey-making practices and is positioned for consumers looking for premium products with strong craftsmanship and provenance.
The whiskey is triple-distilled, non-chill filtered, and matured in ex-bourbon casks before being finished in Oloroso Sherry and Banyuls wine barrels. Produced in small batches, the expression is designed to deliver a balanced flavour profile while maintaining the character associated with Irish whiskey.
Mayank Yadav, Founder, My Barrel & Beyond, said, "The Indian premium spirits consumer is becoming increasingly discerning, seeking brands with authenticity, provenance, and meaningful stories. Emberstone represents a thoughtful expression of Irish whiskey crafted with patience, respect for tradition, and an unwavering commitment to quality. We are delighted to introduce a whiskey that reflects these values and offers consumers a refined and memorable drinking experience."
The launch comes as premiumisation continues to influence India's alcoholic beverage market, with consumers increasingly exploring imported spirits and premium whiskey categories. My Barrel & Beyond expects Emberstone to strengthen its presence in this segment by offering an Irish whiskey crafted using traditional production methods.
According to the company, the whiskey features aromas of toasted oak, dried fruits, vanilla and subtle spice, followed by notes of honeyed malt, orchard fruits, nutty undertones and soft tannins, with a finish shaped by its Sherry and wine cask maturation.
Following its initial launch in Delhi, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh, Emberstone will expand into Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, Goa, Maharashtra, and Karnataka later this year as part of its phased market rollout. The company said the expansion is intended to support the growing demand for premium Irish whiskey among Indian consumers.
