Copenhagen Sparkling Tea Launches at 080 Domestic and International Lounges in Bengaluru

Bebida Hospitality and Bengaluru Airport’s 080 Lounges have introduced Copenhagen Sparkling Tea (CST) at the domestic and international lounges in Terminal 2 of Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru. The addition expands the lounges’ beverage menus with a Danish sparkling tea range made using organic teas.

Founded in 2017 by Jacob Kocemba and Bo Sten Hansen, Copenhagen Sparkling Tea is brought to India by Bebida Hospitality Pvt. Ltd. The brand’s blends use up to 13 organic teas, including first flush Darjeeling and Assam. Its products are served at more than 200 Michelin-starred restaurants and at hotels including Four Seasons, InterContinental, Ritz-Carlton, JW Marriott, Taj and Leela.

At the 080 Lounges, the tea is served chilled in stemware and is available in three blends. Blå combines jasmine, white tea, Darjeeling and Assam; Lysegrøn features sencha, green tea, citrus and first flush Darjeeling; while Lyserød blends silver needle, oolong, hibiscus, Darjeeling and Assam.

George Bennet Kuruvilla, CEO, Bengaluru Airport Services Limited (BASL), said, “We are constantly looking to elevate the experience for travelers who frequently visit our lounges. Copenhagen Sparkling Tea gives our guests a distinctive choice that matches the care we put into every part of the lounge. It reinforces our commitment to thoughtful hospitality, quality and creating meaningful experiences for our guests.”

Jacob Kocemba, Founder, Copenhagen Sparkling Tea, said, “I created Copenhagen Sparkling Tea so that every guest can raise a glass to the moments that matter. An airport lounge is where journeys begin, and we are proud to be part of the welcome at the 080 Lounges in Bengaluru.”

Nadia Sood, Co-Founder, Bebida Hospitality, said, “India has one of the world’s great tea cultures, and Copenhagen Sparkling Tea, served by the world’s leading hotels and restaurants, offers an entirely new way to experience it. That is why we brought it to India.”

The 080 Domestic Lounge and 080 International Lounge are located airside on Level 4 of Terminal 2 and operate 24 hours a day. Managed by BASL, the lounges offer dining, spa facilities and workspaces, alongside artwork by local artists. The sparkling tea range now forms part of their food and beverage offering.
